Treasurer’s Report Quick Summary Overview to this point:

Income:

Grants Received: $110,000 total

Donations as well as 4 Fundraisers (less expenses for advertising, food, drink, rent and misc) Total after expenses: $156,497.07

Total Income $266,944.07

Spent:

Barn Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Stabilization (Both Phases Completed) Cost $220,000

Site Study $5000

Workshop Costs $447

Total Spent $225,447

Balance in Account today $41,497.07

We still owe Thrasher Eng. $50,000 (waiting for partial payment in the form of approved grant) Balance owed after grant will be $18-$20,000.

We still owe for Phase 3 (Roof) which has not been completed yet: $98,000

(waiting for partial payment in the form of a grant) Balance owed after grant will be $49,000)

Therefore, we still owe $67,000 – $69,000 for Roof Phase 3 less our Balance in Account ($41,497.07).

Which means we still need to raise $25,500-$27,500 to pay all bills including the Roof (Phase 3). That is our goal for next fundraiser.

This group decided to have a Diamond Bash as our next fundraiser. Statton Clark suggested adding guns and calling the event: The Diamond Heist.

This event will be held on Saturday afternoon late March or early April at the Romney Fire Hall. TBD after discussing with GT.

We plan to open at noon and start the event at 1pm til 4pm. Possible other highlights may include Roulette, Black Jack, auction items, raffles, 50/50 and other games to keep the afternoon interesting. Starting at noon: Beer, wine, charcuterie, fruit, finger foods, desserts will be served.

Bill Martin suggested we nail down purposes for the barn so that the public can get on board with it.
